From The Other Side

By: AnnaMaria Leal

Have you ever found yourself in the middle of an event, but it feels like you’re watching from outside your body.

A fly on the wall, or an unwanted guest.

Seeing those you love move on without you.

Coming to terms with the fact that you were just a passerby in their story. Even though they were the main characters in yours.

Acknowledging that you are no longer wanted by them in the same way they are wanted by you.

As if a glass wall divides them and you, and you’re just watching from the other side.
