Irene Abby
I just heard somebody THE OTHER DAY talking about weeds and how we don’t like weeds
I was doing a lot of READING
I DISCOVERED that something
I had been PULLING OUT turned out to be Oxi-Daisies, those white Daisies with the yellow centre
….
I said to myself: WHY am I pulling these out?
I think our definition of a weed BEING SOMETHING that is growing where YOU DON’T WANT it
….
I know EVERYBODY in New Denver
Yes, I GOT TO KNOW quite a few people.
I didn’t know what part of town to live in and I really didn’t have TIME to read
….
I really didn’t know what I WANTED
And, I don’t know, everything is CHANGING so fast
And I think that’s TRUE
….
I was talking to her about why we shouldn’t be CUTTING down all those trees
I just hope they wake up in TIME
So I just HOPE
I mean DESPITE some other things they’ve always kind of stuck to that
Well, ya, I mean it’s GOOD
….
But I think all war HAS TO BE ABANDONED
I don’t think we’ve got enough steel in the world to go on, making guns ALL THE TIME.
